We loved the T- shirt but needed the print for a cover for my husbands prosthetic leg. He was in an awful accident a year and lost a leg as a result. He is a Beatle Fanatic and we had to put them on his new leg. Thanks for the awesome art and it was the perfect size.

Guadalcanal, 12 June 1943: LT(jg) William Nicholas Leonard leads a flight of VF-11 Grumman F4F Wildcats on a successful mission in search of Zeroes. Leonard scored two kills on this day. The backbone of the US Navy at the beginning of the war, Wildcats could take punishment that their more nimble and lighter foes (mainly Zeroes) couldn't, and tactics could be used that brough the Wildcat out on top in battle more often than not. The Wildcat helped plug the gap in some of our nation's darkest days, early in World War II.
