Looks fantastic hung on my blue accent wall, and is much admired by my friends. I wish the size I purchased was still available because one of my friends really wants to purchase this picture with the same cooper frame choice.

Artist's Description
In 1973 a US Navy airplane ran out of fuel and crash landed at the black beach of Solheimsandur, Iceland. Everyone onboard survived this crash landing. As the crash was investigated it turned out that the pilot had simply switch over the the wrong fuel tank.
The walk from the main road to the wreck felt like forever. As far as the eye could see, there was only black sand and storm clouds. Perfect conditions for a black and white photo.
To be honest, I had pictured this capture as a black and white one long before I got here.
Anyway, the 8-9km walk (back and forth) resulted in this capture of the Solheimsandur plane wreck.
